Description
The Colnago Master model line is undoubtedly the evergreen of cycling history. First released in the mid 1980s, five different versions of the Colnago Master were introduced until 1998 ( the Master, Master Più, Master Olympic, Master Light, and Master X-Light).
Thanks to these superb frames, the Italian brand achieved a peak of steel frame design, but on the other hand, the Master also represented the interim end of the steel era in the bicycle industry.
Introduced in 1991, the Master Olympic shares with its predecessors the famous profiled tubes, originally designed by Gilberto Colombo to make the frame stiffer and more reactive. The Olympic distinguished itself for slightly oversized tubes and very eye-catching paint schemes.
This particular Colnago Master Olympic illustrates a very iconic flamboyant Decor paint scheme and – of course – the very distinctive Columbus Gilco tubing. As for the components, a complete Campagnolo Record Gruppo and Campagnolo Vento wheels complete the exquisite setup of this Colnago Master Olympic.

Condition
Used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals are all original. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones.
