The Colnago Nuovo Mexico shares the aggressive racing geometry (short, light and very stiff) with the Colnago Super. The major development is the profiled Columbus SL tubes which had distinctive crimps at the top and down tube.
Upon its release and instant success by Giuseppe Saronni in the 1982 World Championships, the Colnago Nuovo Mexico became an instant cult classic and a proud piece of cycling history.

The bicycle is set up for the perfect Eroica experience;

-Clincher rims, easy to change the inner tube in case of a puncture.
-Rear cassette with 28 teeth, perfect for climbing hills.
-Padded handlebar tape, comfortable over long distances.

Condition
Used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals are all original. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones.
