Description
Few bicycles have influenced the scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were comparably heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high performance.
This Colnago Super stems from the early 1980s approximately 1982. Featuring the fully chromed fork crown with Colnago clubs and lettering on the tops. The frame still shines in its original classic Saronni Red paintjob.
As for the parts, this Super is equipped with Campagnolo Super Record groupset some of which have been pantographed.
Condition
Used.. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals are all original. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones.
