Description
Few bicycles have influenced the scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were heavy with long wheelbases, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high performance. Since its launch, most racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This Colnago Super dates approximately to 1978. The components are all Campagnolo Nuovo Record, as the legend would have ridden himself. The outstanding components are to be found all over the bike. From 3ttt cockpit, Cinelli Unicanitor saddle or the Mavic rims in great condition.
What's more, a lot of the parts have been precisely pantographed, elevating this bicycle to even higher level.
The frame has been refurbished in Eddy Merckx Molteni team colours, a reminiscence of the special edition of Eddy Merckx edition Colnago made back in the day.
This Colnago Super is a great choice for vintage bike fans. Suitable for classic cycling events.
Condition
The bike is in great condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. Paintwork has been professionally refurbished in a Molteni scheme. All parts have been checked in our workshop and are in great working conditionBicycle Size
