Description
Few bicycles have influenced the scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were comparably heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high performance.
Since its launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This Colnago Super stems from the 1970s and it features a beautiful chromed fork crown with two little triangles cut into the back. The frame has been professionally refurbished and it looks really elegant in the light blue paint job.
As for the components, you will find Campagnolo Nuovo Record gruppo - top level parts of those days. What's more, the brake levers & chainring have been pantographed.
A stunning bicycle which won't dissapoint any true Colnago lover. Eroica appropriate.
Condition
Used. The bike is in great condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. Paintwork has been professionally refurbished in a SCIC scheme. All parts have been checked in our workshop and are in great working condition.Bicycle Size
