Description
The Colnago Master Bititan is one of the great masterpieces crafted by Vidmantas Zukauskas, the famous titanium expert.
The downtube is replaced by two smaller tubes, which is an old way of stabilizing bikes. This double downtube appeared on various bikes from the 1980s to the mid 1990s and was called the Bitubo by Colnago.
This form of frame was the favourite design of Tony Rominger, who is said to have a collection of these in his garage.
This top-class bicycle has been equipped with a Shimano Dura-Ace Groupset.
Condition
Used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals are all original. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts (tyres, cables, chain, bar tape). were replaced with new ones.
