Description
Ugo De Rosa is certainly one of the best frame builders of all time. Not only did he supply many champions with his high-end bicycles (Gianni Motta, Eddy Merckx and Francesco Moser, just to name a few).
He simply manufactured masterpieces and through them strongly influenced the cycling industry. In his dominant years of the 1970s, his top model was the De Rosa Strada Record the later versions of which are often also referred to as the De Rosa Super Prestige, later followed by the Professional and finally by the De Rosa Primato.
We are happy to be able to present one of these machines to you. An exemplar in original blue colour and with a beautifully clean design. The bike dates to late 1980s.
The De Rosa Primato certainly is one of the great steel bikes. With its light Columbus tubeset and classy Diamante chainstays it is fit for competitive racing. And it is also equipped with some of the most popular groupsets of all time, the Campagnolo Super Record. Many parts show excellent pantographs. A bike to lose ones heart to and to ride wherever you like to.
Condition
Used. Fully refurbished. The paint and for have been professionally repainted with new decals. The bike was fully reassembled and serviced by our team. The setup has new wearing parts like tires, all cables, bartape, brake lever hoods.Bicycle Size
