Description
Ugo De Rosa, one of the most successful frame builders was born on January 27, 1934, in Milan, Italy. His passion led him to study mechanics and engineering at a technical college. Later in the early 1950s he opened his first shop and commenced the manufacture of racing bicycles. He supplied many champions with his high-end bicycles (Gianni Motta, Eddy Merckx and Francesco Moser…), and also strongly influenced the cycling industry with his amazing bikes from Cusano Milanino.
Here we proudly present one of the most iconic bikes made by UgoDe Rosa, the De Rosa Professional. The frame is a work of art, made of Columbus SLX, crafted with perfect attention to detail, that provides the best performance you might expect from an early/mid-80s racing machine. This work of art features the famous ”Diamante chainstay” and De Rosa engraved seat stays. It is equipped with a complete Campagnolo Super Record groupset and furthermore, there are a few special De Rosa pantographs.
Condition
Used. The bike is in great condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. Paintwork and decals are original. Some scruffs under the downtube and decals a bit timeworn. All parts have been checked and are working fine.Bicycle Size
