Description
Dellacasa is a small artisan brand based in the village Chieri just outside of Turin. Here we present a stunning Monbocoque bicycle from the 1990s. Carbon was already proven as a bicycle frame material, but it was still in the form of tubes connected together by some additional elements. In the late 80s and early 90s, many manufacturers experimented with a more advanced solution - the carbon momocoque. From the beginning, it was difficult to produce the frames in high volumes, different sizes and the whole manufacturing process was very expensive.
It was a challenge. But it allowed for different shapes, characteristics and geometry alterations, as our Dellacasa displays. Our Dellacasa is equipped with Campagnolo Mirage groupset, and a set of custom designed handlebars. What's more is that Dellacasa's signature appears on the frame and wheelset.
Condition
used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals are all original. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones. You can expect the bicycle in fantastic riding condition and ready to go for your vintage bike ride.Size Information
