In the late 1980s and early 1990s the Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra was one of the best road bikes on the market and therefore the choice of many professional teams.
It dominated the peloton with its extremely well-made triangle of light and rigid Columbus SLX tubing. The "superbutted" tubesets from Cyclex steel, are designed for professional use and are famous for their helical reinforcements on the inside.
Our Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra is more special as it is a limited edition frame, made for the 10th anniversary of Eddy Merckx bicycles.
The frame is equipped with Campagnolo Chorus Groupset.

Condition
Used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals have been professionally refurbished. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones (Chain, tyres, bartape, cables).
