Our Eddy Merckx WX Chrono is the highlight of the 1996 Eddy Merckx catalogue. It is crafted with super high strength, heat treated Excell steel tubing.
This Excell tubeset is inspired by the aerodynamically formed steel designs which were traditionally utilized in aeroplane constructions. These tubes were turned 90 degrees and by doing so created a protruding headtube, like the aerodynamic blade of a knife.
The original paintwork is coated in a zinc phosphate anti corrosion treatment.
Our Eddy Merckx WX Chrono has been equipped with a Campagnolo Chorus Groupset.
Condition
Used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals are all original. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts (tyres, cables, chain, bar tape). were replaced with new ones. You can expect the bicycle in fantastic riding condition and ready to go for your vintage bike ride.Bicycle Size
