Description
In the late 1980s and early 1990s the Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra was one of the best road bike frames and therefore the choice of many professional teams. It dominated the peloton with its extremely well made triangle of light and rigid Columbus SLX tubes. The SLX was a "superbutted" tubeset from Cyclex steel, designed for professional use famous for its helical reinforcements on the end of the tubes.
Our Eddy Merckx dates back to the late 1980s and shows the beautiful paintjob of the Team ADR. A particularly popular Belgian équipe, which, despite being poorly funded, managed to secure some excellent results. In 1988 Team ADR rode Eddy Merckx bikes to victory in such races like Parix Roubaix or the Tour of Flanders
Our Cosa Extra has been fitted with a complete Campagnolo Chorus groupset and a Cinelli Cockpit. The bicycle has been checked by our expert mechanics in Berlin and is read to ride!
Condition
Used. The bike is in great condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. Paintwork has been professionally refurbished. All parts have been checked in our workshop and are in great working condition.Bicycle Size
