Description
After retiring from competition, the great Champion Eddy Merckx started setting up a bicycle manufacture. Since he wanted to build the best road bikes possible, he managed to engage one of the best frame builders of all time to help him with designing the frames and teaching other frame builders. And as it happened Ugo de Rosa - The Master designed some of the first frames of the Eddy Merckx line and helped Eddy in the first business years.
Here we present you Eddy Merckx Corsa road bike in the original paintjob of tema Telekom. The frame stems from around 1993 (serial number 5CT9398Z) and is made of light Columbus SL tubing. Along with the traditional details known also from other models it features some rare solutions. The top tube with racing number holder has two brake cable guides brazed on a side.
When it cames to parts, our Merckx has one of the best racing groupsets of the time - Shimano Dura-Ace 7400 series. Sweet little extra are the Swiss Edco Champion hubs, Selle Italia Turbomatic saddle or indeed the beautiful Merckx pantographed 3ttt stem.

Condition
Used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals are all original with small scratches and abrasions. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones. You can expect the bicycle in fantastic riding condition and ready to go for your vintage bike ride.Bicycle Size
