Description
In 1946, Gaston Lapierre started a small bicycle shop in Dijon, France in the beautiful region of Burgundy. The 1990s was some what of a golden decade for Lapierre bicycles, with professional teams such as FdJ winning multiple events on them.
Our Lapierre 24 Carat stems from this golden generation of bicycles, built from Deda Zero-Tre steel tubes that are TIG welded together. The frame is robust yet still reasonably lightweight. With some fancy details like the s-bend seat stays, chromed dropouts or the shifting cable guides on the head tube.
It has been equipped with Campagnolo parts.
Condition
Used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals are all original. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones. You can expect the bicycle in fantastic riding condition and ready to go for your vintage bike ride.Bicycle Size
