Legnano bicycles have had an important part in cycling's history. One of the oldest Italian bicycle brands, the company started in 1902 in Milano. Since, Legnano bikes have proved their pedigree with fifteen Giro d'Italia, two Tour de France and two world hour records with riders including Fausto Coppi and Gino Bartali.
This refurbished 1970s Legnano Olimpiade Specialissima is made with Reynold 531 Extra Light tubing, the super strong and super light wonder steel that has won more Tour de Frances than any other. The repaint was done professionally and gives the bike the quality and classic appearance of its past, the classic metallic green.
The Olimpiade Specialissima was the brand's top model at the start of the 1970s, and this classic frame has been fitted with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset in top condition to match, our Olimpiade Specialissima is built to go.

Condition
Used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The frame has been professionally re-painted and restored to its former glory. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones.
