Description
Mariano is a small and relatively unknown Italian brand, situated in the Lombardei region. They are known for making a few experimental prototypes with a number of different famous Italian brands.
What we have here is one of those somewhat rare prototype framesets produced by Mariano that was made in collaboration with Ciöcc. Our NOS (New Old Stock) example of the frameset here has been hand-crafted from aluminium, and as you can clearly see this distinctive design plays around with a unique solution instead of a more conventional seat stay.
This novel frameset displays beautiful smooth transitions between the tubes, and the fillet silver brazed joints form a stiffer frame than TIG welds or lugs, yet they still sustain that subtle cushioning that you would expect from a Columbus Altec 2 Racing Proset Aluminium frameset.
As for the components we have equipped it with top-of-the-line and brand new Campagnolo Centaur 11s groupset. This provides a timeless polish and will ensure an exceptional ride every time.
