Description
Launched in 1970, the Masi Gran Criterium is one of the most sought-after Italian bicycles ever manufactured.
Inspired by the racing bikes that Masi built for Eddy Merckx, the Gran Criterium is perhaps the pinnacle of Faliero Masi’s achievement. The filed lugs and double-fork crown are clear indicators that this is a bicycle for serious racing.
Masi rarely disclosed which steel tubing he used for his bicycles, but it’s presumably made either from Columbus SL or Reynolds 531 tubes.

Condition
Used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals have been professionally refurbished. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones (Chain, tyres, bartape, cables).
