Description
For 30 years, Norwid has been building sophisticated "bicycles for velosophists", as owner Rudolf Pallesen says. They are known for hand-building bespoke top-end bicycles built to the custom demands. Our wonderful example has been handcrafted from triple-butted Columbus Spirit Tubing.
As is expected for Norwid bicycles the parts are top of the range, and what is worth a special note is the speed hub 500/14 is a bicycle hub gear from the Hessian company Rohloff. The name stands for the gear ratio range of over 500 percent and 14 gears. The 14 gears graduated in even 13.6 percent steps and the gear ratio range of 526 percent, as well as the possibility of shifting the hub while standing still.
What is also worth a mention are the Magura HS22 EVO 2 Hydraulic Rim Brakes. The 14 mm master cylinder and the 100% reliable MAGURA Royal Blood mineral oil fluid guarantee the powerful braking and optimal modulation under all and any conditions for which MAGURA hydraulic rim brakes have repeatedly and deservedly won top marks in tests. The ergonomics are no less impressive. The 3-finger brake levers draw their ergonomics from current MT disk brakes
A true unique piece.
