Description

Giovanni Pelizzoli is best known for being the founder of the brand Ciöcc, which he lead from 1969 to 1980. The master frame builder is responsible for famous creations like his San Cristobal frames which were ridden to a great number of victories. Later he was responsible for the extremely successful designs of the brand Coppi, then owned by Masciaghi. His bikes helped Gianni Bugno to keep on winning and secured the first three places at the Olympic road race of 1996.

Since 1983 he has his own small brand by the name of Pelizzoli under which he produces and sells very fine bicycles like the one we are presenting here. It is a really nice bike of the then still young brand.
Our Pelizzoli Road Bicycle stems from the 1980s and has been refurbished in deep blue paintjob. It is a beautiful machine with a frame that is made of Columbus tubing and shows some really nicely laid out engravings. While most of the tubes are Columbus SL, some were borrowed from the legendary aerodynamic set of Columbus Air. And so you can admire the elegance of the wing-like shape of the front fork blades or the flattened seat stays.
It is equipped with Camapgnolo Victory groupset, Ambrosio rims and other fine parts like the the 3ttt cockpit or handmade Tufo tyres.

Condition

Used.   The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintjob has been professionally refurbished and thus in top shape. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones. You can expect the bicycle in fantastic riding condition and ready to go for your vintage bike ride.

SVB quality and attention to detail is second to none! Fantastic customer service, very accommodating and helpful. An error was made in delivery and the SVB team efficiently sorted the problem the same day. I was gifted the original item and sent a brand new item, dispatched the same day. Lovely products and very helpful staff. 5*

Just bought a second vintage classic bike from Steel Vintage. A great bike at an excellent price and they couldn't have been more helpful. Their fantastic service was every bit as good as before.
Placed the on-line order late on Saturday evening and the bike was delivered to me here in the UK the following Thursday morning.

Geeky Eroica Cool. I bought the "old-school" Italian made bike shoes. They were delivered in good condition and in a quick timely fashion. They're geeky cool, just like I hoped and they're put together very well (stitched nicely, no glues where it shouldn't be) light and fit properly!

Steel Vintage Bikes are such an excellent company to deal with. They are passionate about vintage steel bikes. They have in my opinion very fair prices and very obliging to deal with. Packaging is great and no hassle even for delivery way down here in New Zealand.

The overall service provided by Steel Vintage Bikes is always first rate. Delivery and packaging is always timely and well done. I cannot fault Steel Vintage and have been a customer for a number of years.. Plan to get to Berlin hopefully in the near future, stop in for a some Kaffee und Kirchen and a bike geek mooch around the shop.
