Description
A Romani road bike is not easily found with an actual Romani branding.
This renown producer from Parma, northern Italy, usually worked as a very well-paid contractor for the building of high-end third party frames.
Thus you can find different high class companies which actually sold Romani frames. Among them were Colnago and similar brands!
This Romani is a project for the really tall riders. So we took this size 65 (!) frame and built it up with a blend of NEW, NOS and a few refurbished used parts.
The frame is made of stable steel tubes with nice cutout lugs, forged dropouts and a nice chromed fork. An NOS Regina Strada shifting set has taken care of shifting, brakes are from Tektro, an NOS cockpit by ITM and on the very top is perched the iconic Flite saddle.
Such a large frame should be matched with proper sized components, so the crank arms are 175 mm long, stem is long and bars are wide.
This bike is perfectly applicable to daily rides, commuting and long distance weekend rides too. The whole bike has been custom built by our mechanics in Berlin.
Condition
NOS frame. The frame is in NOS (New Old Stock) condition. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again.Bicycle Size
