Description
Mario Rossin worked as a frame builder at Colnago for several years. After a conflict with Ernesto Colnago, he and his 4 partners from the amateur team founded Cicli Rossin, on September 14, 1974. The “R” in the Rossin logo was adopted from Rossignol skis, and the pentagon represents the five founding members of the company. Mario Rossin was the design genius behind the company’s beginning and ever since then, the Rossin name has been one of innovation and racing success. Rossin became high profile bike manufacturer through the 1980s and 1990s sponsoring top-level teams.
ROSSIN Performance EL is made of superb Columbus Extraleggeri EL tubing, featuring great attention to detail to provide the best performance. The bike has been elevated to a new level with modern components, a Campagnolo Centaur 11s Groupset. To top it off it runs on Campagnolo Calima wheels.
Condition
The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork is original with some normal signs of usage such as a few paint chips and scratches The decals are original too. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! Parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones.
