Description
Claudio Bestetti was born in Lombardia in 1962. He developed a passion for cycling riding in the Southern Alps, joining the professional circuit in 1985. He made is big move to the Gis Gelati-OECE Team in 1986, a team with great pedigree; Giuseppe Saronni, Roger De Vlaeminck and most notably Francesco Moser who won the Giro d'Italia with them in 1984.
In 1986 the Team rode Rossin bicycles, our Rossin RLX Perfomance belonged to Claudio Bestetti. The Rossin RLX is certainly one of the best Rossin bicycles of the 1980s. The Columbus SLX tubes have been connected by microfusion lugs and there is also the "block" style bottom bracket. The result is a very stiff frame ready for competitions. These frames were offered in various specifications back then.
As one would expect from a bicycle in the pro-peloton the frameset has been paired with a top of the line Shimano Dura-Ace groupset.
