Description
Jan Šírer a former cyclist that managed to progress to a national level. However, after failing to make a professional career in cycling he founded his own company bearing his own name Šírer. Founded in his home country of the Czech Republic, Šírer began building bicycles which gradually became popular and a household brand for amateur racers in road and cyclocross.
This Šírer bicycle that we present here has been manufactured to a high quality, a common feature of Šírer bicycles, however, what makes this one special - it is a cyclocross version. Fittingly it has Modolo cantilever brakes, proprietry cable routing and above all the geometry which feels itself at home in the terrain. Clearances are generous so wide tires like these brand-new Tubo Cubus tyres fit nicely. It has an array of Campagnolo parts and in a sense, you can really look at it as a predecessor of today's gravel bikes.
A very versatile bike which is fast on the roads, capable in the terrain and comfortable at the same time. And above all, all this in the authentic style from the bygone century.

Condition
Used. The bicycle is in bicycle in good condition. The frame has no cracks or dent and is straight. Paintwork and decals are original with some scruffs but overall still good for a CX bike. All parts have been checked and are working fine.Bicycle Size
