Here we present you a special Stelbel Strada made by the Italian maestro STELio BELletti.
He is without a doubt one of the most creative and skilled Italian frame builders of the 1970s and 1980s. Belletti was actually one of the first manufacturers who pioneered the process of TIG welding (Tungsten Inert Gas) for bicycle frame building (he learnt it from his father Antenore, a planes fuselages welder). And he was the first frame builder to master this technique to a degree that is still exemplary today.
This Stelbel dates back to 1986. The lugless frame is a true craftsmanship masterpiece, as well as the unique fork with the iconic Stelbel crown. This classic bicycle is equipped with the best parts of its time: a Campagnolo Super Record groupset.
Stelio Belletti is said to have manufactured roughly 1000 frames. Therefore each Stelbel bicycle is like a piece of art. These bikes reached a cult status especially among Italian collectors. They can rightfully be called iconic.
And our masterpiece will certainly enrich any vintage cycling collection!

Condition
The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals have been professionally refurbished. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones (Chain, tyres, bartape, cables).
