Description
Serafino Tomi started his small workshop in the early 1970s in the Central Italian town of Viterbo. He slowly gained the reputation of being an excellent Artisan who tried to combine classic style, timeless details and modern geometry.
We are happy to be able to present one of the earlier bikes of his brand. Our S. Tomi road bike from the 1970s has been built using top class Reynolds 531 tubing. It offers solutions to make maintaining the bike easier, such as the rear brake cable routing via cable stops or the seatpost clamping under the front of the seatlug cluster.
The outcome is a fine frame which rides well-balanced that it is absolutely no denying that it has been made by a talented master of frame building. That has been built up with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset.
Condition
Used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintjob is original. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and wearing parts were replaced with new ones. You can expect the bicycle in fantastic riding condition and ready to go for your vintage bike ride.Bicycle Size
