Description
While this bicycle has the look of a traditional randonneur, it is packed with modern design and features. The wishbone rear triangle is a Velo Orange custom design. By simplifying the connection points, it makes the rear end light and springy for optimal power transfer.
The main triangle is made from 4130 double-butted chromoly steel tubes and uses an oversized 35.0mm downtube and a standard 28.6 top tube. It makes the handling simply exquisite. The bike feels planted and comfortable and has flex in all the right places.
As for components, the bicycle has been equipped with a range of top-class parts, which includes Shimano Ultegra 10-speed gruppo topped off with Trp Spyke disc brakes.
Condition
The bicycle is in great condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals are all original. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones.
