Description
Rachel Dard was a French cyclist that was active in the 1970s. In the early stages of his career as an amateur, he won a number of events in the amateur circuit, including the national road race champion in 1974. During the 1975 season, he became a professional rider in the Peugeot cycling team. In 1976 he won a stage of the Etoile des Espoirs race and in the Criterium du Dauphiné Libéré. His career was cut short in 1978 and he turned his hand to manufacturing bicycles.
We have a fine example here of his handy work, crafted from Vitus Cr-Mo Steel that has been double butted. As for components, you will find a Shimano RX100 groupset and 3ttt cockpit.
